How I became famous...

Only in Nashville!
So I was singing loudly in my room the other day whilst the roommate was away. Erin McCarley and I were jamming out. She'd hit the high notes, I'd hit the high notes. It was a thing of beauty. Suddenly I hear a knock on the door...I normally wouldn't answer as I have been solicited to many times by people selling magazines giving me some sob story about how they just need 1000 more points to get a trip of a lifetime. Save it, kid!

But I digress...I look through the peep hole and a woman in her 40s wearing a nice suit is standing there. She tells me she was visiting a friend in an apartment in my building and heard my singing. She's a music producer with some big shot record company. She wanted to bring me into the studio to see what all I could do. I told her my situation...that I am about to move and it's really not a good time. She insisted and I went down to Sony with her to sing for some people and I NOW HAVE A RECORD DEAL!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???

No? Probably good because it didn't happen. I did however find in my packing that one of the windows in my room has been ajar for the past few months (since I last opened it in the Fall.) So not only did the aforementioned story not happen, people probably heard my off pitch singing, my phone conversations, my prayers, etc.

Calling on my Psychic Powers

I predict that the digital tv switch will never happen. The government has decided to postpone the switch until June (barring a presidential veto) because over 6 million people will probably get it together in the next 4 - 5 months. Listen, if I have to see another runner go across my screen, hear another commercial or see another news story about the switchover, well...I won't do anything. But I will internally wish this switch was over already.

I've done a lot of complaining on the blog lately. I really don't have anything in life to complain about. I've got a great family, fantastic friends, a new job and a Savior who loves me.

But while I have your attention, I met a person who has a Snuggie and I had to restrain myself. Granted, it was a gift from an older person.

Can anybody explain to me why we would ever want to give rich people tax breaks? Apparently, they don't pay their taxes, or hire legal employees, so why would we let them off from paying more.

Also, boo to you Christian Bale. You are an ass.

Spoiler Alert

So I was convinced I was not going to watch the Bachelor this season but crap the first episode sucked me in. I will say that this is the best season I have ever watched. They have even got me thinking this Jason guy is pretty great...I can't believe I just admitted that. Anyway Necie has found the answer to all of your questions on the youtubes.

Did you know that over 4 million Snuggies have been sold? It's pretty much the best invention, apparently, since The Clapper. My only question is this...in these hard economic times, wouldn't it be much more prudent to get your bathrobe and wear it backwards?

I swear, if I see a Snuggie at a football game next fall, I will cause a commotion. If it's someone I know (Kay or Bob) there will be some explaining to do.
