Just like Ringo

If there was a Beatle I would want to emulate, it would be Ringo Starr. Why? No reason except for he played drums and that's pretty cool. He's also still alive, so that has to account for something.

What do the previous words have to do with this blog? Besides the fact that I don't really care too much about the Beatles or drums, there is an interesting news story coming straight from the drummer's sticks, er...mouth. Ringo no longer wants you to send him fan mail. No, no...he's far too busy. After October 20th, he will begin to throw it away. He just doesn't have time for you people who have bought his albums(?) or sticks or sunglasses over the years and made him a millionaire. (What does one buy from Ringo?) QUIT SHOWING HIM YOU LIKE HIM!!!! How dare you waste his precious time with a letter saying how much he means to you! I mean, of all the nerve.

All of that being said, I will now be accepting Ringo's fan mail at 438 Elm Pike, Nas......

I've also decided that a lucky commenter will receive a free copy of my playlist for each month. It will be a random drawing or picking. So comment and comment often. Otherwise, your ears will hate the rest of you.

See Ringo? That's what true entertainers do. They reward their fans for letting them know how they feel.

Here's a comment! Put me in the drawing... I love the playlist. Although it makes me feel kind of old and out of touch as I've never heard of 85% of the bands or songs. I mean, I love my iPhone, and the free iTunes downloads, but I think I'm out of the loop! Even though I watch "The Hills"...I should work on that, eh?

You just want a lot of comments. I'm not falling for this.

I'm sure taking the time to read every single letter he was sent did get to be too time consuming. Have you seen Ringo lately? No, because he's at home reading. Give the Beatle a break!
